Called to BECOME…

Called to BECOME…

Just recently, I’ve come to realize that what I planned for my life isn’t exactly what God had planned for me. ..
When I was a young girl, I always asked God ,”why me? He removed the most important person to me ,the one who carried me and pushed me to life, the one who would have my back when no one else would… my mom!
What could I have done wrong to receive such punishment? God was showing me through many, many hard trials and challenges, that I had looked at it from a different perspective. He didn’t allow these things to make me feel less loved ,insecure, or forgotten. God was showing me my strength and who I can be for him as a strong woman of faith.
God will remove people, things, and opportunities from your life for you to solely depend on him.
At the age of seven God was growing a strong human who would experience and conquer hurt ,pain, and confusion. You might say these examples aren’t rewarding ..yeah that’s what I thought too! See what we don’t realize is that each situation, each trial is not for us but for someone else.
When you look back on the assignment and the lesson that was learned, you’re grateful. The lesson turns into a teaching moment for someone else , you then realize it’s a blessing from God ,because not only did he walk with you through it, but now he’s using you to walk someone through it to find him.!
Being obedient is what helps our purpose move into action. God‘s Word is an anchor to keep us focused on the assignment and the call he has on our life.
I look at life now and say “if God isn’t in it ,then I don’t want it. If God allows me into an atmosphere that may be challenging. I know that he’s placed me there for purpose, for change … Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)states” “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.”
‭‭ Your assignment may not look achievable to others, but it’s your assignment, not theirs, so don’t let man discourage you or make you doubt what God is doing!
In Becoming what you’re called to activates with your Belief in God, having Faith and Patience.,NOT being bound by what the world says you are.. “But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
IN BECOMING there are 3 Main Things God asks of Us.
  1. Believe in Jesus : Believing that he saved you from sin and that you can only be saved through him.
  2. Put living for Jesus first in your life : A lot of Christians fail at this one, including myself ! When problems arise, we tend to stress or worry about how to resolve things on our own. But going to God first is always the answer … Finding hope in his Word, even when life has us down. We tend to think that worldly things can make us feel better. Whether it’s eating unhealthy, alcohol, drugs, or hanging with a certain group of people. Even being a part of organizations that doesn’t center around God‘s righteousness can be harmful…Going to God first will give you insight if it’s where you should be. God has all the answers to our questions. That’s why we should seek him first. Like I said earlier, if God assigns you to such a place that’s not like him, you’re there for a purpose to make a change on his behalf.
  3. Read the Bible. How else will you know of such things to happen? Good or bad we must know them all in order to crush the head of the serpent!! In the beginning, God only intended for us to only know good, however Adam and Eve messed that up! See… there is no wasted ink in the Bible. Every word has been tried and it’s true. All scripture is profitable for teaching ,for rebuking (when we’ve done something wrong), for correcting us (to do right and make wise decisions), and training in righteousness to live how God intended us to.
Now, after stating the 3 main things, let me break down a few more things God asks of us.
Become involved in a Bible believing church and seek friendships with Christ followers
Hebrews 10:25 tells us, “not to neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.”

In Becoming ,Forgiving Others is also a thing!
God expects us to forgive each other just as he forgave us. As Luke stated, do not judge, and you will not be judged, do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive ,and you will be forgiven.
There’s this book in the Bible that I made myself familiar with recently, Philemon!
This was a message to display what I believe is in imperative key to hold each other accountable in the body of Christ. While Paul was under house arrest, he wrote a dear friend by the name of Philemon., who had a slave named Onesimus, who stole from him. The slave ran away to Rome, where he ran across Paul, due to a series of circumstances. Long story, short, Paul ministered to Onesimus and discipleed him to Christ. So much so, that he ministered back to Paul. Once Paul learned what brought Oneminus to Rome, he sent words to Philemon to forgive him and make things right. With Love Paul reminded Philemon of how every good thing we share is for the sake of Christ, and that we should represent Christ in forgiving.( I let you go and read the outcome!)😉

With the world we’re living in now, This next command is hard to follow. The tongue is a powerful weapon ,Proverbs 12:18 ;and if you want to Become, We must refrain ourselves from complaining. We should live our lives in thankfulness , Philippians 2:14 KJV “Do all things without murmurings and disputings:”
Instead we should thank Him for the gift of his spirit to walk us through the journey of Becoming.

Praying is another ask of God. As you become, praying shares communication between you and the father. Building a relationship is important with him. It shows faith and trust that HE is the go to for our every need. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 KJV. “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
‭‭
Loving Others goes without mentioning if you want to BECOME for the sake of Christ, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Paul explains that Love is being patient with someone, being kind, and that it does not envy, nor being boastful. Not arrogant nor rude. Self seeking and being irritable is not tolerated, keeping no records of others wrongs. Being a human that finds love and the truth, and rejoice in it! Bearing all things, hopes all things, and endure us all things, Amen!! It should never end!

Now last, but should never be least . God acts of us to care for the widows and the orphans. In becoming, giving back to others, not expecting nothing in return is an attribute of Christ. And in becoming this action is an act of being a representation of God. Being able and blessed to give to others is a gift from Him. As we know, Jesus never ceased to help, give , pray or fellowship with the less fortunate. And so shouldn’t we… no matter what decisions they’ve made to produce their current circumstances, we should not judge, but display Love acts.
In Becoming, God is using us humans in purpose to bless others and draw them closer to Him. Don’t let the weight of the world hold you back from Becoming. I pray that this message resonates with your heart and your lead to share with others.
Be Blessed,Love Angelia 💜
