It’s about time….
If you’re not a believer, it’s about time you get your research done; because if you’re not on the right team you’re going to burn ! God‘s team is quiet but yet praying. God told us that he will fight all our battles, Exodus 14:14 says,”the Lord will fight for you and you must be quiet”. It’s time to take notes on the matters at hand just because you can’t see the way, doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have a way! Let’s look at the facts, the Word says The Israelites escaped Egypt & the Egyptians through the Red Sea. They didn’t see it coming, but God came through!
Know the word for yourself ,there are voices that are escaping into the atmosphere that are not of God. The noise of everyone wanting to be heard wanting platforms to draw attention, not alone the music which is hypnotizing our younger generation… people always wanting to clap back and give revenge on their aggressors. What happened to forgiveness ? God said forgive 70×7, as if to say it countless times we should forgive. Doesn’t God forgive us every time we mess up showing grace and mercy to us!?
Get into your word before it’s too late, read it for yourself. People talking about the rapture is coming. It was also recorded by Matthew, “that no man not even Jesus knows the day or time God will begin judgment”, Matthew 24:36. We often complain about the suffering we endured or get fatigued about it..saying “When will it be my turn? “ Do you not know that the purpose of your Being is to show Love, invite others to Christ and Serve. Jesus was brought here to save humanity from sin ,to seek and save the loss and to fulfill the law. He also came to serve us. Jesus never complained about his journey, he came to do his Father’s business. We should do the same. The suffering we experience is not done alone.. but with the Holy Spirit guiding us , living on the inside of us. Our ways must reflect who our father is …so suffering, for the cause of righteousness comes with his stripes we can’t only want the blessings and not the trials…
In Matthew 20:20-23, the mother of the Zebeedee sons approached Jesus and asked ,”could they be on his right and left in his kingdom ?” Jesus says ma’am, you don’t know what you’re asking. He asked the Zebeedee brothers ,”are you able to drink the cup that I’m about to drink?”
Jesus had just predicted his death for the third time to all 12 of the disciples, but I like the comment Jesus made ,”you will indeed drink my cup, but to sit at my right and my left is not mine to give . It is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father. Even back then the disciples liked the fame that came with being a follow of Christ, (bring in his circle),but they soon grew to the suffering that came along with it. The seats to the right and left of a King were reserved for those in special authority. When the other 10 disciples heard this they were bothered..
In Matthew 20:25 -28, Jesus called them over and said,” You know the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in high positions act as tyrants over them. It must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve , and to give his life as a ransomed for many.”
Believers, We must continue to be on guard, fill ourselves with God‘s word not to be consumed by things of this world. Luke 21:34-37 tells us to be alert and pray at all times to have the strength to escape all the things that are going to take place when Jesus comes.
Having faith and acting in faithfulness, is two different things. Actions in faith will declare to the enemy that he doesn’t stand a chance .
Following Jesus and being a believer is not easy, but very much rewarding. Studying God’s word helps you understand and clarify the things of this world. The Holy Spirit leads you with discernment and prepares you for the journey. Everything that we go through is designed to show others how God kept you through the journey building hope for others to see God‘s glory. Let’s not complain of the journey, but instead rejoice because we know that God is with us, and with him you will survive!
